Growth Day
We had our Growth Day on Friday. We didn't have lesson on that day.
We did something different from last year. Last year each class had to paint four small boards and all the boards will be put together to create a big banner, to support the Youth Olympics 2010. This year, we did an advertisement on the Habits Of Mind (HOM). Our class did an advertisement on "Thinking and communication with clarity and precision". It was on of the 16 HOM. It was a thirty seconds video, But when it was screeened in front of the school, most of them couldn't understand the message. During the assembly, A few students gave a talk on their trips during their December vacation. They showed the HOM like conquering fear, experience something with awe, and think of a solution to solve the problem. We also did our target settings for the year, I hope that I will reach my targets written on the Growth Booklet.
